Iβm so excited to join the team at this gorgeous boutique fitness space in the Natty Boh tower. Weβll do classical Mat Pilates and spice it up with infrared heat, resistance bands, Bala weights and dumbbells. Expect a challenging start to your week with a good sweat and lots of music.

TENS ACROSS THE BOARD
In most popular numerology, a yearβs βnumberβ is determined by adding the digits up:
2 + 0 + 2 + 6 = 10
β¦and if the sum is a two digit number, the two integers are then added together:
1 + 0 = 1
So if youβre getting pushed this type of content by your algorithm, you likely already have been told 2026 is a β1β year. Which is all well and good and something that I dismissed for a long time because I didnβt really see the utility of thinking this hard about numbersβ¦
Until I got into Katonah Yoga circa 2018 (a β2β year for those keeping score).
And hereβs the thing about 10 in Katonah Yoga: it has its own archetype.

Itβs one, yes. The beginning, the βdrop in,β the deepest water, the boiler room of it all. But itβs even better because itβs the circumference. If 1 through 9 are each their own unique rooms, 10 is the whole house, and then some.
As I reflected today, I found myself creating a little ten part βmeditation deckβ around the archetype of 10 as taught taught by Nevine Michaan. I have included it below as a New Yearβs gift to my subscribers. Love you!
IN YOUR HANDS:
A TEN PART MEDITATION FOR THE NEW YEAR
Meditation is intensely personal - and itβs only useful if itβs doable. In my experience, itβs most doable when itβs enjoyable.
So set up your environment to make it feel like a treat: get cozy, light a candle, put on beautiful music, whatever you love to do.
You can spend as little or as much time on this - there is no wrong way. Gaze at each image and reas the prompt below it. Use for meditation, brainstorming or journaling, whatever serves you. Look at all ten today or pick one that speaks to you. Theyβll be here if you decide to come back another time. ENJOY!

1. Drop in; we just leveled up. Where are you?

2. Have your immediate reaction and take stock of your thoughts around your current circumstances.

3. Bridge your past feelings to your current desires. How will you care for yourself this year?

4. Look outward and ponder. What are you daydreaming about? What is out there for us?

5. Pause. Find your center. Know that it radiates out to your circumference, your aura, your field, your sphere. What is in your heart?

6. Take a first step into your new world. How will you get there? How does it feel?

7. Take the wheel, make a deal. Youβre going to take action and create something new. What do you need?

8. Rinse and repeat. Find a rhythm, like the tides. Embrace the necessary repetitions of life. What are the mundane things that will ultimately contribute to your joy?

9. Reflect and revel in your successes, even if they are lessons from failures. Youβre on top - enjoy it!

10. Itβs the whole thing, but even better. Imagine wrapping your year in beautiful paper and tying a bow around it. Itβs going to be a masterpiece. π€
